Partial Image Rejection block
When acquiring http images asyncroniously from the web you may find that the acquired image will be only partialy downloaded. This can happen if the image download is requested before the image generating source has completed its upload.
Partial image Reject
Select this checkbox if partial images are received at times. Applies mainly to reading images from a web server via http. Set the Threshold for partial image reject. Nominal value is 5.0. Higher values will more increase the sensitivity to partial images but with the increased possibility of false positives which will reject valid images.
RTSP using TCP checkbox
If using rtsp to capture images from an IP camera you may see the effect shown where there are vertical bars stretching from the bottom of the image. Select RTSP using TCP to remedy. If there continues to be striped bars even using RTSP using TCP checkbox then also use the RTSP striping filter.
RTSP Striping filter
If your camera returns striped vertical bars at the bottom of the image and your camera does not support RTSP using TCP then use this checkbox. Set a threshold of 2.0 to start. 3.0 can also work well and you can increse it if needed. Note that increasing the threshold value can result in false positives which will reject valid images.
RTSP timeout, seconds
Set the number of seconds where the rtsp image capture will quit waiting for an image. Some cameras require up to 40 seconds depending on imaeg size and the network responce time. If the software doesn't see an rtsp image within the time set then it will quit waiting and no image will be returned. Increase this value if you suspect it needs more time to return an image.
